Raquel Naverrte (NEEMO GEIE-IDOM), an expert in European Commission projects funded by LIFE, carried out a visit on 25th and 26th May in order to get an update on progress of the Aquemfree project over the last year. The visit included a visit to all three pilot equipment plants included in the project and now installed at agricultural farms in Cieza, Santomera and Aguilas in Murcia.

During the meeting, information was provided on the current progress of the different stages of the project and changes since the previous visit in July 2016.

Of particular relevance was the installation of the aforementioned pieces of pilot equipment. Decontamination with this equipment will begin in the near future.
